THE WAY OF ST JAMES - THE PUY EN VELAY WAY
The first part of this section of the Le Puy Way of the Camino de Santiago will take you along the high Aubrac plateau, which is a tranquil lansdscape of green fields and volcanic rocks. The second part takes you down into the lovely Lot valley. In France the Camino de Santiago is marked as a GR Route with a red and white stripe. It is easy to follow and your holiday pack includes detailed walking notes and maps making navigation even easier. Although sometime physically demanding, it only requires a reasonable level of fitness. Moreover, if you feel tired and need a rest, you often will find bars and restaurants along the way.
